This is a software recovery tool for recovering data from SQL Server database.
Kernel for SQL Database Recovery tool is the official name of the product. This is a SQL Server Recovery tool that can let you recover many kinds of damage in the database files, MDF files. This software can let you restore data in SQL Server versions 2000, 2005 and 2008. It helps you recover and maintain data including table, views, stored procedures, triggers, damaged unique keys, primary key and foreign keys, etc. The software is able to create script files where the recovered files are saved. It makes the recovery operation quite simple to implement. The tool uses a scan and recovery technique based on a proprietary algorithm. The SQL database repair tool effectively recovers deleted records, partly damaged records which get saved in separate batch files. The database rebuilding batch is created automatically by Kernel for SQL database repair software so as to recreate the database again.
The interface is absolutely simple. On launching the product you get a window on which the Select file button can be clicked to select the damaged or corrupt MDF file. It lets you specify the database, a temporary file path and the version of the SQL Server you are working on. The progress bar moves to let you know the process is working. Several stats are displayed that are updated as the process continues. The tool displays summary of the recovered data on the left-hand side of the Kernel window. The name of the Table, number of rows, and number of columns are displayed in the summary window. “Go to Save” button starts the process of saving the recovered data.
